Introduction
Clara Pasieka is an actor, writer and producer. As an actor, her films have played at festivals all over the world. In addition to her work on screen, she remains active in the theatre both as a playwright and as an actor. Her current writing frequently involves grappling with the complexities of multiculturalism from various perspectives. A constant arts and culture activist, she regularly speaks to various levels of government about the need to protect the arts and artists and co-chairs the youth committee, YEAA at ACTRA Toronto. Recently, she was instrumental in the passage of of Bill 17 - A bill to protect child performers working on stage and screen into law. She is currently the youngest serving councillor on ACTRA Toronto council.
